My So-Called Christmas

So, it's more like a scorching wildfire kind of Christmas this year. It's hard to believe that it was actually 80 degrees on Christmas day. There are 70+ wildfires being faught in the northern part of this state! At least I have snow waiting for me when I get back home!

Being with family and friends has been fabulous! I've seen mostly family and was dissapointed that I couldn't get in touch with some of my friends while they were in town. I'm having dinner tonight with my Itty Bitty! I'm so proud of her; she graduated from undergrad this month!! Rock on, Little!

I received way too many gifts for Christmas. I, of course, am grateful for them all. Thank you everyone!!

P.S. Jeff, my cookies were good, darnit! You can talk about the cake all you want because, yes, it was quite dry. Next time I'll make you some chocolate chip cookies!

i love how you call the North "home" now. we'll make a Yankee outta you yet girlie. :) tho, on a day like today you'd prefer Texas. it's drizzly, dark and cold. glad you're having fun with the Fam.
